RISQ’s reputation in Quebec is well-established: it is the premier telecommunications carrier for research and education in the province and beyond.

RISQ provides its members with a very high bandwidth network and unparalleled service flexibility. Thanks to the gradual implementation of sophisticated technologies, it allows its users – researchers, instructors, students, administrators, and technical personnel – to envision new ways of doing their work.

Recently, RISQ took the decision to move beyond this traditional role and become a significant actor in the production and dissemination of knowledge. Toward that end, the Innovation Group was established in the spring of 2003.

Scientific Advisory Committee (C2R2)

RISQ’s Scientific Advisory Committee provides timely expert advice to the Innovation Group on innovative uses for network infrastructure, technology directions, and the programming of RISQ’s annual conference.
