Multimedia broadcasting

Thanks to its high-throughput network and associated quality of service mechanisms, RISQ is able to broadcast audiovisual and multimedia content with exceptional output quality. RISQ thus supports leading-edge uncompressed audiovisual broadcasting, such as McGill University's Master Music Classes, and MPEG2 or MPEG4 compressed, point-to-point, video-on-demand services (notably originating with the NFB, Canal Savoir and Télé-Québec), as well as audio or video synchronized with multimedia presentations.
