Membership Policy

In accordance with its mission, RISQ Inc. verifies that applications for membership in the RISQ Inc. network meet the following criteria. Applications are evaluated by an admissions committee composed of institutional members of RISQ Inc. Admissible entities are the following:

• All institutions accredited for granting university degrees in Quebec;
• All Cegeps and private colleges accredited for granting diplomas or certificates of collegiate study in Quebec;
• All private and public primary and secondary schools in Quebec;
• All federally or provincially chartered non-profit research institutes;
• Any private sector research institute meeting the requirements for connection to higher education networks interconnected with RISQ, Inc., such as CA*net 4, and who need access to RISQ in order to meet their research objectives;
• Any other private, public or quasi-public organization, requiring access in order to fulfill research and instructional requirements, may be admitted on the recommendation of an institutional member.
